The Regional Passport Office Lucknow was opened in December 1956 .This Office deals with passport requests from Bundelkhand, Eastern and Central Uttar Pradesh covering 48 districts. This Office provides passport services to around 2.75 lakh people every year. Initially the jurisdiction of this office extended to all the districts of UP and MP, but Passport office at Bhopal, Bareilly and Ghaziabad were setup later.

2. Online Registration and status enquiry.
3. Allotment of passport numbers .
4. Verification of Indian Passport issued by any passport office/Missions Abroad.
5. Automatic Duplicate passport checking.
6. Photo and Signature Scanning.
7. Printing of Passport.
8. Delivery and dispatch of passports.

While meeting to Passport Officer OR Public Relation Officer, please bring the relevent documents e.g. Annexure-F, Annexure-I, in case of Tatkal Scheme and stay proof, birth certificate, 10th / 12th certificate etc. etc. in case of any other objection.
